Foundation of the working group "Museums in the Protestant Area" with 5 founding members.

 

2019

Five museums from the WG together with "bildung evangelisch in Europa e. V." decide on a larger joint project in 2023 under the "umbrella theme" of

"Evangelische Migrationsgeschichte(n)" - Protestant migration story/stories

 

until June 2021

Six other Protestant museums from five European countries/USA join in

 



Central principles: 

  1. Independent organisation of exhibitions in the respective institutions in 2023 institutions in 2023
  2. Maximum possible cooperation in research, advertising, funding issues
  3. Joint appearance at the 2023 Kirchentag & further networking meetings

 

This includes cooperation in research and advertising:

  • Independent organisation of individual exhibitions (research, design, selection of objects, on-site advertising, accompanying programme).
  • Scientific exchange in the case of thematic contacts (e.g. Huguenots D/F, Exiles D/A, D/Ro, Emigrants D/USA)
  • Joint publication of a scientific publication
  • Joint organisation of two conferences (Neuendettelsau 10/22 and Budapest 10/23)Presence of the museums and exhibition contents on their own joint website
  • Joint image film
